Thing 5, Task 2
When I set up the google reader and went to “social digital tools with an election theme” under my subscription to Infinite Thinking Machine (http://www.infinitethinking.org/2008/09/social-digital-tools-with-election.html), I found this article to be quite interesting. Although I don’t currently teach social studies, I am certified to do so. I’ve always wanted to get the kids more involved in the whole process of voting, hoping to interest the future generations in staying involved in the political process. I think this is an interesting way for the kids to become part of the election process, and I found it to be much quicker and easier to find than I thought. I think I might actually enjoy this whole RSS “thing’.
